3D printed high quality photoreactor with switchable light sources

Our photoreactor was fully designed with a concentric architecture optimized to maximize light homogeneity. All components were manufactured via 3D printing (FDM and VPP resins), enabling a modular assembly that requires no tools

The system supports multiple high-power LEDs (UV 390 nm, violet 420 nm, blue, green, and red) with adjustable current from 50 to 1000 mA. Integrated temperature sensors and calibrated photodiodes, connected to Arduino, allow real-time monitoring of irradiance and process stability. Together, these features enable precise light control and ensure reproducible experimental conditions

The device is designed for advanced research: from resin photopolymerization in 3D printing to kinetic studies in vials, cuvettes, or NMR tubes. Its open and modular design makes it an ideal platform for R&D in photonics and materials science
